The Binner estate was established in Alsace in 1770, and they are a family operation, certified organic, and follow biodynamic farming. They produce a diverse range of wines, sparkling to late-harvest and eau de vies, and almost all the wines are also made with no added sulphur. A blend of three pinots – gris, blanc, and noir – this wine is an example of a product being more than the sum of its parts. It doesn’t taste like any of the three grapes, and yet it tastes exactly like each one. Searing acidity and unripe red fruit mixes with chalky minerality for a wine that tastes truly alive.
