Halkia “Redish” is a natural vinification of the most planted red Greek grape, Agiorgitiko, from its birthplace in Nemea, by female organic grower Halkia. Even though this is a direct press, Agiorgitiko shows its richness in anthocyanins and fresh forest fruit.
Deep rose color, freshly cut strawberries and forest fruit on the nose, with a medium body and a structured palate.
Free flow, wild fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tank, with no filtration or fining. 3.5 months of maturing without lees.
